About Me:

Being a Dental Hygienist is not only my career, it is my passion. I truly enjoy getting to know my patients, teaching them all there is to know about good oral health, and giving them a smile of which they can be proud.

I enjoy children and spent many hours during high school years working part time in child care. I studied elementary and special education on the college level before my transition to dentistry. An early start in preventive oral health care can mean a lifetime of healthy smiles.

When I am not at our office I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I spend the majority of my summer at our family retreat in the Finger Lakes. I like sports including downhill skiing, biking, water skiing, hiking and kayaking....anything that brings me to the great outdoors!

About Me:

I am a dentist from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. My husband moved to the United States temporarily for military work in which I am accompanying him. I am enjoying this opportunity to exchange experiences and to help as much as I can at Dr. Schirmer's practice. I come from a dental family, and started to love dentistry by seeing my father and older sister working with patients. Today I can't think about following a different career. I am enjoying learning new procedures and techniques with Dr. Schirmer.

In my free time, I really enjoy my home, husband, friends, and being with family. I also enjoy traveling to different places and meeting new people. My husband and I enjoy riding our bikes and going for nature walks.

Outside of Dr Schirmer's office, I spend all my time with my husband, daughter, family, and friends. I also enjoy traveling, shopping, being outside, and attending different events from festivals to concerts; anything that sounds exciting and fun.

About Me:

I have 10 years experience in the business/accounting field. I enjoy my career with Dr. Schirmer’s office not only because it is an excellent work atmosphere, but also because it allows me to dabble in a little bit of everything. One day I may be assisting patients and scheduling appointments, and the next I may be filling in as the dental assistant. Then I always return to the back office accounting. It keeps things interesting and exciting.

Outside of Dr. Schirmer’s office I own and manage an accounting and business services business, offering everything from tax preparation to bookkeeping to computer services. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and bowling. I also greatly enjoy learning and am currently enrolled in college in order to further my education.
